How to check a PSA cert number
Updated 2026-10-26
Every PSA slab has a unique certification number on its label. Looking it up is the fastest way to check a slab before you buy it.
Where to find it
The cert number is printed on the label, next to the barcode.
How to look it up
Go to psacard.com and enter the number in the cert verification search. The result shows the card, the grade and the date it was graded. Newer certs also include scans of the slab.
What to check
- The card name, year and number match the card in the slab.
- The grade matches the label.
- If there are images on record, they match the card you're looking at.
- The holder has no cracks, gaps or signs of being opened.
When you post
If you're selling, make sure the cert number is readable in your photo. Serious buyers look it up before they pay.
