How to make a card for sale post
Updated 2026-10-26
A good for sale post answers the buyer's first three questions before they DM you: what is it, what grade, how much.
On the image
- The slab, big and centered.
- The price, or "offers" if you want them.
- Your handle, so the image still points to you when it's shared or screenshotted.
In the caption
- Card name, year, set and number.
- Grader and grade.
- Price and whether it's firm.
- Payment methods and whether shipping is included.
- How to buy: comment, DM, or a link.
Keep it short
Long captions with every hashtag you can think of look like spam. Pick a handful of specific ones: the character, the set, the grader.
Multiple cards
Put up to three slabs in one image with a price under each, or post a carousel with one slab per image. Number them so buyers can say which one they want.
Make it in Grailshot
Grailshot has a For Sale layout: drop in the slab, type the price and your handle, and export. It writes a caption you can copy too.
Turn a phone photo into a clean slab post. Free, no account.
